I love to paint portraits, and always, all my life I paint them.
At first, there were not very many models, and I mostly painted portraits of my daughters.
Я очень люблю писать портреты, причем писала их всегда. Поначалу моделей было не очень много и я в основном писала портреты своих детей.
У меня две дочери Рада и Сильвия. Рада всегда с удовольствием мне позировала и не только для своего портрета. Она часто была моей моделью для портретов других женщин. Сейчас я объясню как. Мне всегда было не очень удобно забирать у людей много времени на позирование.
Принцип был таким- я изначально делала рисунки и наброски модели, а потом руки, шею мне допозировала Рада. Так что она теперь является счастливой обладательницей множества своих портретов.
А портреты Сильвии не всегда закончены.
I have two daughters Rada and Sylvia. Rada always posed with pleasure to me and not only for her portraits. She was often my model for portraits of other women. Now I will explain how. It was always not very convenient for me to take a lot of time for people to pose. The principle was this, I initially did the drawings and sketches of the model, and then hands and neck were posed to me by the Rada.
So she is now the happy owner of many of her portraits. And the portraits of Sylvia are not always finished.
Писала я портреты своих знакомых, своих друзей, а так же делала портреты на заказ.

Вот один из них с смешной историей. Ко мне обратилась женщина, которая уезжала в Израиль. Перед началом создания образа я с ней говорила и спрашивала в каком виде она хотела бы предстать на портрете. На что она мне ответила, что собирается заняться пошивом одежды, так что можно написать портрет за швейной машинкой.
Это было нелепо. Я предложила ей сделать портрет не швеи и модельера и он получился замечательным. Еще один момент- я попросила ее принести мне сережки, которые она любит и связывает со своим имиджем. Она не принесла и я нашла рисунок очень красивых сережек в виде двух соединяющихся стрекоз и написала их на портрете. Прошла ночь, она прибежала в галерею дрожа от ужаса и попросила убрать эти сережки, сказав, что всю ночь не могла из-за них заснуть. Они ее кусали 🙂
Here is one of them with a funny story. I was approached by a woman who was leaving to Israel. Before starting to create a portrait, I spoke to her and asked in what Image she would like to appear in the portrait. To which she replied to me that she was going to start sewing clothes in Israel, so you can write a portrait with a sewing machine
It was ridiculous. I offered her to make a portrait of not a Lady who is sewing and like a fashion designer, and it turned out great.
Another moment, I asked her to bring me earrings, which she loves and associates with her image. She did not bring it and I found a picture of very beautiful earrings in the form of two connecting dragonflies and paint them in a portrait. The night passed, she ran to the gallery trembling with horror and asked to remove these earrings, saying that she could not sleep all night because of them. They bit her 🙂
