There is so much beauty in the world and I never tire of admiring the works of nature and the hand-made art of artists. I heartily admire the work of the French artist Claire Basler and her ability to paint flowers in the beautiful Chateau de Beauvoir. Previously, I was able to create paintings that in the future turned into reality, and now I decided to dream and place stunning models of the Ukrainian couturier Yan Stepanenko in the castle. How wonderful it would be for all of us to get there!

This painting is one from the series "Ladies" which I started in South Africa. To create a series I was inspired to meet with the real ladies of Cape Town. For the first time in my life I met people who are very different from all those whom I met before. These people do not have to think about work. Their life is filled with art and entertainment. They are heirs of great fortunes. And women are busy with their sweet homes and their comfort. It's so beautiful and I'm sure that's in their homes necessarily live fairies. My "Lady Europe" is a story about how the appearance of Europeans is changing and how this image is increasingly acquiring African features.
Эта живопись одна из серии "Леди" которую я начала в Южной Африке. На создание серии меня вдохновили знакомства с настоящими леди Кейптауна. Впервые в жизни я встретила людей, которые очень отличаются от все тех, кого я встречала ранее. Этим людям не приходится думать о работе. Их жизнь наполнена искусством и развлечениями. Они наследники больших состояний. А женщины заняты своими домами и их уютом. Это так красиво и я уверенна, что в их домах обязательно живут феи. Моя "Леди Европа", это рассказ о том, как меняется облик европейцев и как этот облик все более приобретает африканские черты.

I was born in Ukraine and as every citizen of any country, interested in the history of my country. I always wondered where the name Ukraine came from. In Ukrainian, "kraina" is a country. It turns out that Ukraine is a "U" country!
After spending the summer at a summer House in Odessa, my grandchildren inspired me to create a new series of a country of elves and amazing animals called Uhland !!!
The color solution of the series was influenced by my trip to Australia, where I liked the multicolored hairstyles of people.

The artwork from the "Ladies" series. This series was started in Cape Town and on it I decided to show the beauty of South African women and nature. In the Western Cape is located the so-called "Kingdom of Flowers", a plants called fairbos, from ancient Dutch it is "big bushes". The beauty of these plants is indescribable and the main kind of this kingdom are proteas. You yourself know what is the best gift for women, it is certainly flowers. My work depicts a young prince who gives a bouquet to his young wife.

The nature in South Africa is incredible. Along with the local plants, which are called Feinbos, which means "high bushes" in the translation from the Old Dutch language, there are still many imported plants. Every person who moves to South Africa, necessarily brings here a piece of his homeland. Not all plants take root. But Strelitziia pleases the eye and imagination.
