BLACK PAGES HISTORY GALLERY
Many years have passed since that time and my notes on the events that unfolded around the gallery have not remained.
I perfectly understand that situations of raiding and pressure affected not only us, but also many other people, but I was not ready for this. It was really scary.
In winter, yachts were pulled out of the water and their sheathed silhouettes hung over our windows – it was scary to go past them, it seemed that they would shoot at us.
The bullying by the team of the new head of the port Egorov, who arrived from Yalta, as well as from the remaining slouches from the remaining ones at the posts, continued with renewed vigor.
They really wanted us to drop everything and leave the gallery.
There was a day when they even sealed the doors of the gallery, blocking our access there.
But before that, we had to take out of the gallery a lot of paintings belonging to artists from different countries and cities.
It is good that we had a gallery on Uyutnaya and we could store these works there. We were told that the gallery premises belong to the port and only what is on the balance sheet of the port can be stored in it.
We were offered to rent a gallery or buy a gallery space. We were not millionaires and have never had much money to afford such luxury.
We were supported by journalists and at that moment when they were trying to get rid of the gallery, they shot a report and it frightened the attackers on us.
We got the support of Nikolai Panteleimonovich Pavlyuk. I very often, during this chaos, came to his office of a deputy of the Supreme Council at the Sea Terminal, it was he who stopped Yegorov from destroying the gallery, they all turned over to the need to repair the gallery.
We were closed for a long time and the first exhibition was held in the month of May.

Прошло уже много лет с того времени и не осталось моих записок о событиях, которые разворачивались вокруг галереи. Я прекрасно понимаю, что ситуации рейдерства и давления затронули не только нас, но и многих других людей, но я не была готова к подобному. Это было по- настоящему страшно. Зимой были вытащены из воды яхты и их зачехленные силуэты нависали над нашими окнами- было страшно идти мимо них, казалось что в нас будут стрелять. Издевательства со стороны прибывшей из Ялты команды нового начальника порта Егорова, а так же примазавшихся к ним лизоблюдов из оставшихся на постах продолжались с новыми силами. Особенно отличился в этой травле бывший начальник Морвокзала Виталий Ведутов.
Они очень хотели, чтобы мы все бросили и ушли из галереи.
Был день когда они даже опечатали двери галереи, закрыв нам доступ туда. Но перед этим нам пришлось вывезти из галереи множество картин принадлежащих художникам из разных стран и городов. Хорошо, что у нас была галерея «На Уютной» и мы могли хранить эти работы там. Нам было сказано, что помещение галереи принадлежит порту и в нем может храниться только то, что находится на балансе у порта.
Нам предлагали взять галерею в аренду или купить помещение галереи. Мы не миллионеры и никогда не имели таких денег, чтобы позволить себе такую роскошь.
Нас поддержали журналисты и в тот, момент когда от галереи пытались избавиться, они сняли репортаж и это напугало нападавших на нас. Мы получили поддержку Николая Пантелеймоновича Павлюка. Я очень часто, во время этого беспредела приходила в его кабинет депутата Верховного Совета на Морвокзале, именно он остановил Егорова от уничтожения галереи, они все перевернули на то, что нужно произвести ремонт галереи. Мы долго были закрыты и первая выставка состоялась уже в мае месяце.
