Practice at the Academy of Tourism.

After the course of lectures, we began practical training.
These were full-fledged excursions to the historical sites and reserves of Cape Town.
First, I will tell and show you about these excursions, especially since I have preserved photographs.
On the first day, we visited the most famous Cape Town park, which I already told you about – this would be Kirstenbosch – remember the concerts in the open-air meadow.
And today I will tell you about Lady Barnard’s Bath.
After graduating from the Academy of Tourism, I developed a very interesting hobby, one might even say not a hobby but a real passion. It is thanks to this passion that you are reading my notes today.
With great pleasure, I began to collect interesting facts like pearls in a necklace, because working as a guide, I needed to interest clients, no one needs to listen to and remember important dates, it is much more interesting to listen to legends. It was and is very interesting to me myself. And even more, fun, to check the data obtained from different sources, at a place where everything becomes obvious. So it was and so it happened now.
I just got ready to tell you about the bath, how I received additional information that completely changes my view and my previous stories about it! I’m telling – during the excursion we were told about the legendary Lady Barnard and her bath, but the information was denied.
What is this bathtub – in the depths of a luxurious park in the dense thickets of tall trees, a small pool, filled with blue and transparent mountain water, hid in huge stones. In the photographs, you will see children who are bathed by their parents in this bath.
And I will postpone the history of its origin and intrigue for the next time, so as not to make the description very long.

New activity

Classes in the Academy
In the first weeks, our classes were like regular classes – we were told about the history of the origin of South Africa, namely about the first settlers. It is noteworthy that at first no one was engaged in the colonization of these lands.
The sailors just needed a place where they could replenish their water and provisions, as the search for a new sea route to India was very long and many sailors died due to lack of drinking water and food.

In addition t…

Academy of Tourism
We just moved to Cape Town, Charlotte was born, and our restless daughter came up with an occupation for me that will soon help us socialize in a new life for us.

Rada Binovska

insisted on my admission to the Academy of Tourism! And it was great!

Every morning, Rada, despite the fact that she had a newborn daughter, arranged for me a lift to Durbanville for classes at the academy.

In order to describe everything that happened in the classroom, I, first of all,

I decided not to be an artist anymore!
2009, as you have noticed, is a very interesting year for all of us. This year, when we moved to Cape Town, I made a conclusion for myself – I will no longer be an artist. I decided to devote my life to helping our daughter, I decided to become an exemplary grandmother.

I did not take any brushes or paints with me on the road, nothing that I needed in my previous life – to start all over again and not paint. The life of an artist is diffic…
