And finally, on May 30, 1998, the Maritime Gallery of the Odesa Port was presented and in the same year I became a “port lady” – then it sounded proud to me!

I remember Nikolai Panteleimonovich asked me if I was ready for this, what could I answer? It was a real fairy tale embodied in life!

And I believe even now that it is no coincidence, and in our city, in our country, this brightest place in the world should simply have appeared – the Maritime Gallery, the gallery of the highest spirituality, the place where the light comes from.

Everyone knows that. I want to believe that this light is unquenchable, because it is precisely what people need so much today, and we, who have dedicated our lives to this wonderful mission, will carry it with honor as much as we can …

The gallery was presented by the Second Marina Biennale “Marina 1998″.

There was a lot of work behind it and it was difficult for us to do with the” Na Uytnoy” gallery. All forces were directed to the Marine Gallery.

The Marine Transport Bank, represented by Igor Zgurov, became the sponsor of the catalog of the biennale.

Thank you so much for this. Igor without any hesitation gave me the money, but I just as easily didn’t hesitate to take it away and give it from hand to hand to the person who was supposed to print the catalog.

Work on the layout took over the ubiquitous Oksana Mas.

On the eve of the next biennale, after 2 years, there was still no catalog and the person who took the money was hiding from us. I had terrible dreams in which I doused him with gasoline and set it on fire, I was so ashamed in front of the participants in Marina. The main reason is that the catalog was not printed. It became the ambitious size that Mas chose, not having sufficient knowledge in prototyping and miscalculation of the publisher in the money based on the given size.

We saw him only three years later …

Primexpress was one of Marina’s sponsors, we advertised them, and after the exhibition, they decided to abandon their promises. There were numerous hikes and begging, in the end, they offered us a cruise instead of money, which we soon took advantage of.

И наконец-30 мая 1998 года была презентована Морская галерея Одесского порта и в этом же году я стала «портовичкой»- тогда это звучало для меня гордо!

Помню, Николай Пантелеймонович спросил меня, готова ли я к этому, что я могла ответить?

Это была настоящая сказка, воплощенная в жизнь! И верю даже сейчас, что это неслучайно, и в нашем городе, в нашей стране просто должно было бы появиться это самое светлое место в мире – Морская галерея, галерея высочайшей духовности, место, откуда исходит свет.  Все это знают.

Хочу верить в то, что этот свет негасим, потому как именно он так необходим сегодня людям, а мы, посвятившие свою жизнь этой замечательной миссией, столько, сколько сможем, будем с честью нести его…

Галерея была презентована второй Биеннале маринистики “Марина 1998”.

За этим стояла большая работа и нам было сложно заниматься Уютной. Все силы были направлены на Морскую галерею.

Спонсором каталога биеннале стал Морской Транспортный Банк, в лице Игоря Згурова.

Огромное ему за это спасибо. Игорь без всякого колебания дал мне деньги, а я их так же легко и не колеблясь отнесла и передала из рук в руки человеку, который должен был печатать каталог.

Работу над макетом взяла на себя вездесущая Оксана Мась.

Канун следующей биеннале, спустя 2 года, каталога все еще не было и человек взявший деньги прятался от нас. Мне снились жуткие сны, в которых я обливала его бензином и поджигала, настолько стыдно мне было перед участниками Марины. Главная причина в том, что каталог не печатался стал амбициозный размер, который Мась выбрала, не имея достаточных знаний в макетировании и просчет издателя в деньгах исходя из заданного размера.

Мы увидели его только через три года…

Одним из спонсоров Марины выступила компания Примекспресс, мы их рекламировали, а после выставки они решили отказаться от своих обещаний. Были многочисленные походы и выпрашивания, в конце концов, они предложили нам вместо денег круиз, чем и вскоре мы и воспользовались.
