This week, despite the doctors' orders, the doctors did not recommend that I not paint, I worked. I have long wanted to paint our flowerbed. It is, of course, unusual. There are no flowers usual for flowerbeds on it, Radu planted aloe and three-banded sansevieria on it from a pot that we got from the former residents, that's the complicated name of this plant. And on the beach we picked up edible Carpobrotus! We know it from Cape Town, this plant blooms and is not afraid of the Cyprus heat. And Radu organized the flowerbed around a plant called Elephant's Foot, and I have already told you about it.
In spring, nature wakes up and everything is filled with moisture. But this period is very short, probably only a month or a month and a half, and then everything dries up.
I really, really like the variety of textures of silvery ivory bark, blue aloes, plump, moisture-filled carpobrotuses, and graphically exquisite sansevierias in our flowerbed! It's so delicious that I've been planning to write about this beauty for a long time.

Спалений Кремль це символ зла, там немає людей, одні стіни і я бажаю що б він згорів до тла, бажаю як і сотні тисяч українських жінок. Нехай буде так!

In the courtyard of the house where my art studio is located, tenants planted a stunning flowerbed; roses grow there among the flowers. One of them struck my heart. I took her photo, but that was not enough. Concierge invited me to cut this rose when I decided on this, she said that the rose is too beautiful and can not be cut.
But the rose and the desire to possess it completely captured me. Late in the evening I went and ripped it off! I painted two paintings thanks to this rose and it is much more pleasant to paint her in real, than from a photograph!
