15th ANNIVERSARY of the Odessa Maritime Art Gallery May 2008

Upon returning from Hamburg, preparations began for the celebration of the anniversary – the gallery turned 15 years old!

We started preparing for the holiday earlier and despite the fact that the Maritime Art Gallery of Odessa port was, we have already received a refusal from the port to finance it. At that moment it seemed that nothing would come of it. But we were preparing the exhibition, the artists brought artworks, and we had to decide something. As they say, don’t have 100 rubles …

Advertising was done by themselves, sponsors helped with paying for a video film, renting plasma, and work of waiters. I decided that with the money received for a business trip and a salary, we would arrange a buffet table right in the gallery, but there were friends of the gallery who wanted to take these costs on ourselves.

Everything turned out great !!!

Despite the fact that the port did not give money, many port workers from the management headed by the chief came to the celebration!

The holiday turned out to be great.

The gallery received a gift – the trade union committee allocated money for the purchase of a large plasma TV.

15 летний ЮБИЛЕЙ Морской Арт Галереи Одесского порта. май

По возвращению из Гамбурга началась подготовка к празднованию юбилея- галерее исполнялось 15 лет!

Подготовку к празднику мы начали раньше и несмотря на то, что Морская Арт Галерея носила название Одесского порта, мы уже получили отказ порта его финансировать. В тот момент казалось, что ничего у нас не выйдет. Но выставку мы готовили, художники приносили работы, и нам необходимо было что-то решать. Как говорят- не имей 100 рублей…

Рекламу сделали сами, спонсоры помогли с оплатой видео фильма, аренды плазмы и работы официантов. Я решила, что на деньги полученные за командировку и зарплату, мы устроим фуршет прямо в галерее, но нашлись желающие друзья галереи, взять эти расходы на себя.

Все получилось замечательно!!!

Несмотря на то, что порт денег не дал, на празднование пришло много портовиков из руководства во главе с начальником!

Праздник получился на славу.

Галерея получила подарок- профком выделил деньги на приобретение большого плазменного телевизора.
