Cape Town. My portraits. Nadia Koehn and her children.

Rada has many friends in Cape Town and I like my daughter’s attitude towards her friends.
I’ve been disillusioned with friendship for a long time. I have had the sad experience of betraying those I considered my true friends. Interestingly, the shadow of these old betrayals from time to time haunts me to this day. Despite all this, I have real friends and I am sure they will remain for the rest of my life.
But today the story is not about my former and current friends, but about my daughter’s friends and portraits.
Rada has a girlfriend, it seems to me that she is a former Odesa woman named Nadya. Nadia married a wealthy and not very young South African man. They own a beautiful house in one of the best areas of Cape Town, Fresnaye, and also have a hotel in Italy. In general, they do not live in poverty. Based on this, I painted a formal portrait of Nadia and also portraits of her children. Unfortunately, I still have a photo of the details of the portrait – the girl, and for some reason the boy was cut off in the photo.

Рада в Кейптауні має багато друзів і мені подобається ставлення моєї дочки до своїх друзів.
Я вже давно розчарувалася в дружбі. У мене в житті був сумний досвід зради тих, кого я вважала своїми справжніми друзями. Цікаво, що тінь цих давніх зрад час від часу переслідує мене й досі. Незважаючи на все це-друзі, справжні у мене є і я впевнена вони залишаться на все моє життя.
Але сьогодні історія не про моїх колишніх і справжніх друзів, а про друзів моєї доньки та портретів.
Рада має подругу, мені здається, що вона колишня одеситка на ім’я Надя. Надя вийшла заміж за заможного та не дуже молодого південноафриканця. Вони володіють чудовим будинком в одному з найкращих районів Кейптауна, на Фресні та ще мають готель в Італії. Загалом живуть не бідно. Тому я написала парадний портрет Наді і так само портретик її дітей. На жаль у мене збереглося фото деталі портрета-дівчинки, а хлопчик чомусь на фото був відрізаний.
