Akrounta news. Friday
Everything is calm in the Akrounta, though it started to rain and not just rain, but with thunderstorms and showers – it’s very nice. We have already begun to think about lighting a fireplace, but there is no firewood yet. The neighbors promised to order for us, but so far they are silent.
And I, together with our guest Anaida, her daughter Dasha and Georgiy, for the first time in our entire stay in Akrounta, went down for a walk in the village and it was wonderful. Now everything that was previously scorched by the sun is covered with fresh green grass. Citrus trees are full of ripening lemons and oranges, huge bunches of grapes hang from tall bushes. Everything rejoices at the arrival of freshness and moisture, which fills the grateful soil with strength.
Our house from the village looks great, it rises as if on a stone pedestal above the village. It was interesting to look at him from the side.
The houses in the village are well maintained and people are relaxing on the terraces, we say hello and we are very happy.
The ascent to our house turned out to be a little difficult for me, but I walked slowly. It is a pity that Radu still cannot walk well enough, as before, so we would walk every day.

В Акаунті все спокійно, правда пішли дощі і не просто дощі, а з грозами та зливами-це дуже приємно. Ми вже почали замислюватися про те, щоб розпалювати камінно поки що немає дров. Сусіди обіцяли замовити і для нас, але поки що мовчать.
А я разом із нашою гостею Анаїдою, її донькою Дашею та Георгієм уперше за весь час проживання в Акроунті, спустилися на прогулянку до села і це було чудово. Зараз все, що раніше було випалено сонцем, вкрилося свіжою зеленою травою. Цитрусові дерева сповнені лимонів і апельсинів, що дозрівають, величезні грона винограду звисають з високих кущів. Все радіє приходу свіжості і вологості вдячний грунт, що наливає силами.
Наш будинок з села виглядає чудово, він височіє як би на кам’яному п’єдесталі над селом. Цікаво було подивитися на нього збоку.
Будиночки у селі доглянуті та люди спокійно відпочивають на терасах, ми вітаємось і нам дуже раді.
Для мене трохи складним виявився підйом до нашого будинку, але я йшла потихеньку. Дуже шкода, що Раду поки що не може досить добре, як колись ходити, так би ми гуляли щодня.
