Daintree Rainforest is located on the northeast coast of Queensland, Australia, to the north of Mossman and Cairns. Forest occupies about 1,200 square kilometers (460 square miles) and is one of the largest continuous areas of rainforest on the Australian continent.

Cassowaries feed mainly on fruit, while all kinds of really omnivorous and can take a variety of other products of plant nutrition, including sprouts and grass seed, in addition to fungi, as well as invertebrates, and small vertebrates. Cassowari is very shy, but if you provoke them, they are capable of inflicting injury, sometimes fatal, in both dogs and humans.

As habitats, Cassowary can live in the forest Deintri and maybe it’s not a trick, can someone and meet these amazing birds, but I had no luck.

With the crocodiles in the river Deintri I was also unlucky. It is difficult to imagine that they can live in the river, which is not fenced by residential buildings. And the habitat is not convenient for crocodiles. The whole side of the river is covered with sharply protruding stems of mangrove trees and crocodiles have no chance to go down to the water or out of the water.

Весь берег річки вкритий різко стирчать стеблами мангрових дерев, і крокодили не мають можливості спуститися до води або вийти з води.
