Ryazanoff Gallery.
I told you that when I met Lena, I was delighted. I had a gallery owner interested in my work. And while I was in Melbourne, everything went well. I have the opportunity to be even more busy.
I could go to the gallery, attend the opening of exhibitions.
My exhibition was also held there at the Ryazanoff Gallery, but it was not solo, but in the company of an Australian artist.
Lena courted me – she brought me an easel to Brunswick and now I could work at home. I felt like I had found a friend. Lena is an artist and it seemed to me that we understand each other.
But I’ll tell you honestly – I have more than 20 years of gallery activity behind me and I have never used the difficulties of artists.
It took my half a year in Melbourne and before me was the question of what to do with the work. I could roll them up and take them out. I also dreamed of giving, at least some part, to my wonderful friends Rita and Igor – they have many children, the children have their own homes and my paintings would decorate the interiors in a wonderful way.
But there was Lena and she promised to promote my work. And how could I not believe her.
Today, 7 years have already passed since that moment, and how do you think my business with the Australian gallery went. I received only $40 for a small work with a lion cub and also sold one work myself through the Austrian platform Bluethumb – “Giraffes in Love”.
I will not discuss Lena, everyone has their own business and their own approach, but the works that I asked her to transfer to my Grossmans remained in the Ryazanoff Gallery.

Я розповіла вам про те, що, зустрівши Лену, я зраділа. У мене з’явилася галеристка, зацікавлена в моїй творчості. І доки я була в Мельбурні, все йшло добре. У мене з’явилася можливість бути ще зайнятішою.
Я могла поїхати до галереї, бути присутньою на відкриттях виставок.
Там же в Галереї Рязанофф відбулася і моя виставка, але вона не була сольною, а в компанії австралійського художника.
Олена мене залицялася – вона привезла мені на Брансвік мольберт і тепер я могла працювати і вдома. Мені здавалося, що я знайшла друга. Олена – художник і мені здавалося, що ми розуміємо один одного.
Але скажу вам чесно – у мене за плечима понад 20 років галерейної діяльності і я ніколи не користувалася труднощами, що виникають у житті художників.
Пройшло півроку в Мельбурні і переді мною постало питання про те, що робити з роботами. Я могла б згорнути їх у рулон і вивезти. Я так само мріяла про те, щоб подарувати, хоча б якусь частину, моїм чудовим друзям Ріті та Ігореві – у них багато дітей, у дітей свої будинки та мої картини чудово б прикрасили інтер’єри.
Але була Лена і вона обіцяла займатися просуванням моїх робіт. І як би мені їй не повірити.
Сьогодні вже минуло 7 років з того моменту, і як ви думаєте, пішли мої справи з австралійською галереєю. Я отримала всього 40 доларів за маленьку робітку з левенятком і ще сама продала через австрійську платформу Bluethumb одну роботу-«Закохані жирафи».
Я не обговорюватиму Лену, у кожного свій бізнес і свій підхід, але роботи, які я просила її передати моїм Гроссманам, так і залишилися в галереї Рязанофф.
