This week I received wonderful news – I unexpectedly received the Kuindzhi Prize.
My entire creative life was cut off from the artistic environment of the city of Odessa.
I can explain how it started.
After graduating from the Art School, I looked for a job for a long time, I tried to somehow gain access to the benefits of the Union of Artists, to get the opportunity to sell my works through the Salon. I didn’t succeed. I submitted documents to the Union of Artists twice, both times without success. All this led to me deciding to go my own way. In order to avoid humiliation, I created a gallery, the first private gallery in Ukraine. Then there was the Marine Gallery. At that time, I still didn’t understand why I needed independence. Now I am sure that this is centuries-old genetics, because I am UKRAINIAN!
In my independence, I did not become an Odessa artist, I did not become a Ukrainian artist – I am on my own. People buy my work, which gives me the opportunity to survive and this is wonderful.
And now – recognition, unexpected recognition – the Kuinzhi Prize. I don’t know who is behind this award, in any case, I am very, very pleased! I sincerely thank all those who remembered me!
The second piece of news is that after the award, I received an invitation from the USA to take part in three competitions at once:

Цього тижня мені прийшла чудова новина-я несподівано отримала премію імені Куїнджі.
Все моє життя у творчості було відірвано від мистецького середовища міста Одеси.
Я можу пояснити, з чого це почалося.
Закінчивши Художнє училище, я довго шукала роботу, намагалася якимось чином отримати доступ до блага Спілки художників, поїсти отримати можливість реалізувати свої роботи через Салон. У мене це не вийшло. Я двічі подавала документи до Спілки Художників – обидва рази безуспішно. Все це призвело до того, що я вирішила йти своєю дорогою. Щоб уникати приниження, я створила галерею, причому першу приватну галерею в Україні. Потім була Морська галерея. У той час я ще не розуміла, чому мені була потрібна незалежність. Тепер я впевнена, що це вікова генетика, адже я УКРАЇНКА!
У своїй незалежності я не стала одеським художником, не стала українським художником – я сама по собі. Мої роботи купує, що дає мені можливість виживати, і це чудово.
І ось – визнання, визнання несподіване – премія імені Куїнжі. Хто стоїть за цією премією, я не знаю, в будь-якому випадку, мені дуже, дуже приємно! Щиро дякую всім тим, хто мене згадав!
Друга новина – слідом за премією мені прийшло запрошення зі США взяти участь у відразу в трьох конкурсах:
