I’ve been waiting for this day, waiting and preparing. I really wanted to finish my work “Save and Save my Odessa” by the Independence Day
The tasks were difficult, I had to convey the light of the lights of the Opera House and hands against this background.
The idea of the work itself belongs to my daughter Sylvia, and we decided that she Will be the Bereginya, guarding our beloved city. On August 24, I managed to complete the painting and I was happy.
My whole family and I decided to take part in the celebration of Independence Day in Limassol. Sylvia found out the time when everything was supposed to start and we went first to refresh ourselves in a restaurant at the local Marina.
Our kids love restaurants and they did a lot of housework to make it all happen. Kostya offered to go eat sushi instead of the usual Tavern.
What can I say, we are connoisseurs and lovers of sushi. The boys and I remembered the day of February 20, 2022, when we last ate sushi at Mango in Odessa – it was very tasty.
The restaurant turned out to be very decent, but the sushi was not sushi at all, they just didn’t even take a photo. Marcel and George were smarter and ordered another meal for themselves and they ate, and we were left completely hungry. But that’s not the point – we came to the holiday, which was supposed to start at 2000.
Usually, when such events take place here on the promenade, they can be seen and heard from afar, but this time it was not. But it was very hot and sticky, by the way, before going out, I was faced with the question of what to wear? And I could not imagine that, except to go naked. Sweat flows into three streams.
We walked the whole promenade, it turned out that Sylvia mixed up the date – the event itself was scheduled only for Saturday! But still, the holiday was a success, we had a great evening with our dear family! Glory to Ukraine!

Я чекала на цей день, чекала і готувалася. Мені дуже хотілося закінчити до Свята Дня Незалежності свою роботу «Врятуй та Збережи мою Одесу»
Завдання були складними, Мені потрібно було передати світло вогнів Оперного Театру та руки на цьому тлі.
Ідея самої роботи належить моїй дочці Сільвії і саме її ми вирішили зробити Берегинею, яка охороняє наше улюблене місто. Мені вдалося вже 24 серпня завершити картину і я була щаслива.
Ми з усією сім’єю вирішили взяти участь у святкуванні Дня Незалежності у Лімассолі. Сільвії дізналася час, коли все мало початися і ми вирушили спочатку підкріпитися в ресторан на місцевій Марині.
Наші діти люблять ресторани і вони зробили чимало домашньої роботи, щоб все це відбулося. Костя запропонував замість звичайної Таверни піти поїсти суші.
Що вам сказати – ми знавці та любителі суші. Ми з хлопчиками згадали день 20 лютого 2022 року, коли востаннє їли суші в Манго в Одесі – це було дуже смачно.
Ресторан виявився дуже гідним, але суші були зовсім не суші, просто навіть фото не стали робити. Марсель і Георгій виявилися розумнішими і замовили собі іншу їжу і вони наїлися, а ми залишилися зовсім голодними. Але не в цьому діло- ми ж прийшли на свято, яке мало розпочатися о 20 00.
Зазвичай, коли тут на променаді відбуваються такі події, їх видно і чутно здалеку, але цього разу цього не було. Зате було дуже жарко і липко, до речі перед виходом переді мною стояло питання, що одягнути? І я не могла собі уявити що, хіба йти голою. Піт тече в три струмки.
Ми пройшли весь променад, виявилося, що Сільвія переплутала дату – сам захід був призначений тільки на суботу! Але все одно свято вдалося, ми чудово провели вечір у колі дорогої родини! Слава Україні!
