Friday. News of Limassol. Day of the Constitution of Ukraine.
Yesterday, guests gathered at the Account in Sylvia’s house, our Ukrainian girls decided to celebrate the Constitution Day of Ukraine, being in forced immigration in Cyprus.
I think about how important it is now for us Ukrainians living outside the country to be worthy and proudly represent ourselves to the world.
For many, many years in a row, the imperial policy of our enemies destroyed us as a nation and practically would have done it if it were not for the culture and independence of our people in our blood and not to eradicate this.
How nice it is to watch and admire the beauty and efficiency of our women, many of whom live here with small children, without husbands – husbands remained to defend our Motherland.
The women agreed among themselves and brought dishes of Ukrainian cuisine prepared at home, there was even real Transcarpathian salo on the table – our Ukrainian brand! But how can one do without the sacrament of modeling dumplings? No way, we conjured and tried to please ourselves and our friends with conversation and songs. The evening was a success. It was very tasty and sincere. Keep it up, my dear Ukrainians, the future of our beautiful country is in your golden hands!

Вчора в Акрунті у будинку Сільвії зібралися гості- наші українські дівчата вирішили відсвяткувати День Конституції України, перебуваючи у вимушеній імміграції на Кіпрі. Я думаю про те, наскільки важливо зараз для нас українців, які живуть поза країною, бути гідними і з гордістю представляти світу самих себе.
Багато років поспіль імперська політика наших ворогів нищила нас як націю і практично зробила б це, якби не культура та незалежність наших людей у нашій крові і цього не витравити.
Як же приємно дивитися і милуватися красою та працездатністю наших жінок, багато з яких живуть тут з маленькими дітьми, без чоловіків-чоловіки залишилися захищати нашу Батьківщину.
Жінки домовилися між собою та принесли заготовлені будинки страви української кухні, на столі було навіть справжнє закарпатське сало – наш український бренд! А як же без обряду ліплення вареників обійтися? Так ніяк, ми чаклували і намагалися радувати себе та подруг бесідою та піснями. Вечір вдався. Було дуже смачно та душевно. Так тримати, мої милі українки – у ваших золотих руках майбутнє нашої прекрасної країни!
