Maritime gallery. The first exhibition-competition “Woman and the Sea”

The first picturesque competition proposed by the club of businesswomen.

Women continued to visit the gallery with pleasure and it occurred to me to organize an art contest.

Each exhibition, each presentation required the investment of material resources in addition to enthusiasm.

And it was also necessary to create a circle of admirers of painting, although soon the admirers did not turn into clients, which I was counting on, they themselves increased their business due to the proposed communication. The gallery was a wonderful place to establish business relations amid minor charity. At that time, it was simply necessary for us to create and maintain the image of a successful business, although it was difficult to call a gallery business a business.

The competition was supposed to be held at the Maritime Art Gallery, so I decided to connect the theme of the sea with women. We got a topic that looked pretty – “Woman and the Sea”

Artists gladly accepted the idea and the exhibition took place.

At the presentation of the competition, the ladies’ jury issued a verdict and the first prize was awarded to the artist Igor Zyablov.

The artists were pleased, the women were promoted, what else is needed in this life ?!

The report of one of the Odessa television companies has survived, in which the club’s choice has been sharply criticized, as it was said that our ladies have no right to evaluate the work of artists without being specialists.

And I believe that anyone and those who call themselves connoisseurs and absolutely inexperienced people can appreciate it. Everyone has the right to it, especially since the club has provided cash prizes to all winners.

The game was interesting for everyone and was worth the candle!

Первый живописный конкурс, предложенный клубу деловых женщин

Женщины продолжали с удовольствием посещать галерею и мне пришла в голову идея организовать конкурс.

Каждая выставка, каждая презентация требовала вложения материальных средств помимо энтузиазма.

А так же нужно было создавать круг почитателей живописи, хотя вскоре почитатели превратились не в клиентов, на что я рассчитывала, а сами за счет предложенного общения увеличивали свой бизнес. Галерея была замечательным местом для установления деловых отношений на фоне малозначительной благотворительности. А нам в то время было просто необходимо создавать и поддерживать образ удачного бизнеса, хотя галерейное дело назвать бизнесом было сложно.

Конкурс предполагался быть проведенным в Морской Арт Галерее, так что я решила связать тему моря с женщинами. Мы получили тему, которая выглядела довольно симпатично – «Женщина и море»

Художники с удовольствием восприняли идею и выставка состоялась.

На презентации конкурса, дамское жюри вынесло вердикт и первую премию получил художник Игорь Зяблов.

Художникам было приятно, женщины попиарились, что еще нужно в этой жизни?!

Сохранился репортаж одной из одесских телекомпаний, в которой выбор клуба подвергли резкой критике, как же говорили о том, что наши дамы не вправе оценивать творчество художников, не будучи специалистами.

А я считаю, что оценить может любой и те, кто называют себя ценителями и абсолютно неискушенные люди. Каждый имеет на это право, тем более что клуб предоставил денежные премии всем победителям.

Игра для всех была интересной и стоила свеч!
