In May, at the urgent request of Larisa Poplavskaya, I presented my works from the African cycle for an exhibition at the Museum of Western and Oriental Art.
The exhibition opened on May 19, the day when the honorary consulate of South Africa in Odessa celebrated its 23rd year of friendship between South Africa and Ukraine.
I have an ambiguous attitude towards the events that the honorary consulate triples, and it was one of them that became the last straw for the fulfillment of my desire to complete my exhibition activity.
We are lucky to live in a time when the possibility of using social networks has completely changed the life of an artist.
And now the exhibitions, which are just a means of PR to achieve the business interests of one or another businessman and do nothing for the artists, are slowly leaving the stage.
Травень в Одесі.
У травні місяці, на прохання Лариси Поплавської я надала свої роботи з африканського циклу на виставку в Музей Західного та східного мистецтва.
Виставка відкрилася 19 травня, коли почесне консульство ПАР в Одесі святкувало свій 23 рік дружби ПАР-УКРАЇНА.
У мене склалося неоднозначне ставлення до подій, які потроює почесне консульство і саме одне з таких стало останньою краплею для здійснення мого бажання завершити свою виставкову діяльність.
Нам пощастило жити за часів, коли можливості використання соціальних мереж повністю змінили життя художника.
І тепер виставки, які є просто засобом піару для досягнення бізнес інтересів тих чи інших бізнесменів і нічого не дають художникам, потихеньку йдуть зі сцени.
