We celebrated my birthday this year 2019 with a small group of women, and it was wonderful. In the morning we took a ride in an old Mercedes convertible along the roads of our beloved Noordhoek. Then for lunch we went to V&A Waterfront and ate at my very, very favorite sushi restaurant, Willoughby & Co.
Here, in Cyprus, where we have been living for the second year, I have not had the opportunity to eat normal sushi more than once, and the boys and I often remembered our last trip to the Mango restaurant in Odesa. The sushi there is much better than in all other places in Odesa, but Willoughby & Co. can not be compared with anything – it is the most delicious sushi I have ever eaten.
In the evening, returning from Waterfront, the girls arranged dessert for me with candles and sang Happy Bearsday in chorus! We lit a fire in the fireplace and ended our evening in pleasant and warm conversations.

Мій день народження цього 2019 року ми відзначали маленькою жіночою компанією, і це було чудово. З ранку ми покаталися на старовинному мерседесі кабріолеті дорогами нашого улюбленого Нордока. Потім на ланч ми поїхали на Вотрерфронт і поїли в моєму найулюбленішому суші ресторані Віллоубі.
Тут, на Кіпрі, де ми живемо другий рік, мені не одного разу не довелося поїсти нормальні суші, а ми з хлопчиками часто згадували наш останній похід до ресторану Манго в Одесі. Там суші, набагато краще, ніж у всіх інших одеських місцях, але Віллоубіс не можна порівняти ні з чим – це найсмачніші суші, які мені доводилося їсти.
Увечері повернувшись із Вотерфронту, дівчатка влаштували для мене десерт зі свічками та заспівали хором Хеппі Берсдей! Ми розвели вогонь у каміні і завершили наш вечір у приємних та теплих розмовах.
