Today I already wanted to complete all the stories for 2013, but then FB reminded me of the wonderful exhibition that our daughter Rada organized for me at Steenberg Wine Estate.
She thought of everything – she invited musicians and guests and we had a wonderful holiday.
Everyone, as usual, came to drink and chat, and as usual, no one asked the cost of the work.
For some reason it seems to everyone that exhibitions are just a show and the artist needs them in order to communicate with the audience. In fact, this is so, but it must be borne in mind that organizing such events is a rather expensive thing, and when you come to an exhibition you need to remember this and strive to support the artist financially. Have a nice day and enjoy viewing the photos – they are wonderful!
Сегодня я уже хотела завершить все истории за 2013 год, но тут ФБ мне напомнил о прекрасной выставке, которую наша дочь Рада огранизовала для меня на Винной ферме Стинберг.
Она продумала все- пригласила музыкантов и гостей и у нас получился замечательный праздник. Все, как обычно, пришли выпить и пообщаться, и как обычно, никто и не спросил стоимось работ.
Всем почему то кажется, что выставки- это просто шоу и художнику они нужны для того, чтобы пообщаться со зрителями. На самом деле это так, но нужно учитывать то, что организац ия подобных мероприятий, вещь довольно затратная, и приходя на выставку нужно об этом помнить и страться поддержать художника материально. Всем хорошего дня и прияного просмотра фотографий- они чудесны!
