The next stop on my journey was the Bulgarian town of Nessebar. I really liked this town and now, when I have been living in forced immigration in Cyprus for the second year and getting acquainted with the culture of the island, I can say that the villages and buildings of Cyprus remind me of Nessebar.
Nessebar is an ancient city and one of the largest seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, located in the Burgas region. Nessebar, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Black Sea”, is a rich museum town with over three millennia of ever-changing history. The small city consists of two parts, separated by a narrow man-made isthmus, with the ancient part of the settlement on the peninsula (formerly the island) and the more modern part,
hotels, later developments on the mainland side.
The older part bears evidence of occupation by various civilizations throughout its existence.
It is one of the most famous tourist destinations and seaports on the Black Sea and has become a popular area with several large resorts, the largest of which, Sunny Beach, is located directly north of Nessebar.

Наступною зупинкою у моїй подорожі було болгарське місто Несебар. Мені дуже сподобалося це містечко і вже тепер коли я другий рік живу у вимушеній імміграції на Кіпрі та знайомлюся з культурою острова, можу сказати, що мені села та будівлі Кіпру нагадують саме Несебaр.
Несебар – стародавнє місто і один з найбільших морських курортів на болгарському узбережжі Чорного моря, розташоване в Бургаській області. Несебар, який часто називають «Перлиною Чорного моря», є багатим містом-музеєм з більш ніж трьома тисячоліттями історії, що постійно змінюється. Невелике місто складається з двох частин, розділених вузьким рукотворним перешийком, з давньою частиною поселення на півострові (раніше островом) і сучаснішою частиною,
готелями, пізнішої забудови на материковій стороні.
Старіша частина несе свідчення окупації різними цивілізаціями протягом свого існування.
Це один з найвідоміших туристичних напрямків та морських портів на Чорному морі, який став популярним районом з кількома великими курортами, найбільший з яких, Сонячний берег, розташований безпосередньо на північ від Несебару.
