Looking at these photos now from 2023, I want to cry. This was my last meeting with the wonderful Savik Podobed, a rare soul.
Vyacheslav Igorevich Podobed was born in 1947 in Tashkent. He graduated from the Odessa Theater Art and Technical School in 1967 and the Odessa State Pedagogical Institute, the Faculty of Art and Graphics in 1971. Since 1975, he has been teaching drawing, painting and the basics of composition at the Odessa Theater and Art School. Since 1990 he has been a member of the Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine. Since 1998 member of the Union of marine painters in Odessa. In 2007 he was awarded the badge of honor of the mayor of Odessa “Podiaka”. Participant of all-Ukrainian, regional and international exhibitions. He is a winner of the Marina 1998 and Marina 2000 Biennale. Permanent participant and diplomat of international plein airs. Works as a painter and graphic artist in the genre of landscape and still life. More than 15 solo exhibitions took place. The artist’s works are in the Odessa Art Museum, the Odessa Museum of Local History, the Kirovograd Regional Art Museum, the Regional Museum of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, in galleries and private collections in Ukraine, the CIS countries, the USA, Canada, Italy, France, Serbia, Greece , Israel, China.
Slavik left us just before the start of the war in February 2022.
During the years of his gallery activity, there were many artists next to us, but not all of them were friends. I tried very hard, and it seemed to me that I was doing everything right, but my work and the outstanding work of both of our galleries, greatly annoyed very, very many and not only artists. The Marine Gallery has become the most advanced art platform not only in our country, but also in Europe.
And among the artists we still had good friends, such as Slava and Inna. And now it even somehow becomes calmer due to the fact that Slava, who had a sick heart, did not live up to the nightmare that came to our house. Blessed memory of the wonderful man Vyacheslav Podobed and the health and courage of Inna Rusina, who now lives in Odessa. And God grant us all a speedy victory and new friendly meetings in our beautiful city.

Розглядаючи ці фотографії зараз із 2023 року, мені хочеться плакати. Це була моя остання зустріч із чудовим Савіком Подобедом, людиною з рідкісною душею.
В’ячеслав Ігорович Подобід народився 1947 року в Ташкенті. Закінчив Одеське театральне художньо-технічне училище у 1967 р. та Одеський Державний педагогічний інститут, художньо-графічний факультет у 1971 р. З 1975 р. викладає в Одеському театрально-мистецькому училищі малюнок, живопис та основи композиції. З 1990 р. член Спілки театральних діячів України. З 1998р. член Спілки художників-мариністів м. Одеси. У 2007 році нагороджений Почесною відзнакою мера м. Одеси «Подяка». Учасник всеукраїнських, обласних та міжнародних виставок. Є призером бієнале «Марина 1998» та «Марина 2000». Постійний учасник та дипломант міжнародних пленерів. Працює як живописець та графік у жанрі пейзажу та натюрморту. Відбулося понад 15 персональних виставок. Роботи художника знаходяться в Одеському художньому музеї, Одеському історико-краєзнавчому музеї, Кіровоградському обласному художньому музеї, у Краєзнавчому музеї м. Білгород-Дністровського, в галереях та приватних зборах України, країн СНД, США, Канади, Італії, Франції, Сербії, Греції. , Ізраїль, Китай.
Славік покинув нас перед початком війни у лютому 2022 року.
У роки своєї галерейної діяльності поряд із нами було багато художників, але не всі були друзями. Я дуже старалася, і мені здавалося, що я все роблю правильно, але моя робота і видатна діяльність обох наших галерей дуже дратувала дуже, дуже багатьох і не тільки художників. Морська Галерея стала найпросунутішим арт-майданчиком не лише нашої країни, а й Європи.
А серед художників у нас таки були добрі друзі, такі як Слава та Інна. І зараз навіть якось спокійніше стає через те, що Слава, у якого було хворе серце не дожив, до кошмару, що прийшов у наш будинок. Світла пам’ять прекрасній людині В’ячеславу Подобєду та здоров’я та мужності Інні Русиної, яка зараз живе в Одесі. І дай боже нам усім скорішої перемоги та нових дружніх зустрічей у нашому прекрасному місті.
