Do you remember I told you about the incredible story that happened to my blue elephants? A year and a half ago, ARTIQ from the UK rented my painting for 18 months for an exhibition of South African artists in London. Then it seemed unrealistic to me, despite the way my compatriots usually treated the paintings of artists, solving their business goals, decorating interiors for a while, not caring about the interests of the artist, it all looked like a joke. 18 months have passed and the client for whom this exposition was arranged decided to shed it! And now my Elephants will again stay in London for the next period (18 months) and of course not for free, I will again receive money for renting my elephants! I am very pleased and I share this good news with you, my dear friends!

“Dear Tatyana,
I hope you’re very well and have had a great week.
Following on from my previous communication sent at the end of March, I am very pleased to let you know that our client, Ninety One have confirmed that they would like to continue displaying their collection for a further 18 months on temporary loan.
This will mean that between now and August 2023 you will receive a renewal purchase order from the Artiq project team detailing your new payment for the 18 month rental commission. The renewed exhibition months will be August 2023-February 2025.
Our client would like to continue engaging their staff, clients and guests with the collection – that has received nothing but wonderful feedback – and so if you plan to be in London over the coming 18 months, please do let me know as we may be able to arrange a talk, tour or workshop within the space during your time here.
We are delighted that this wonderful group of artworks will remain in London for a further period. Thank you all for your continued support for and interest in this project and special group show.

Півтора роки тому компанія ARTIQ із Великобританії взяла мою картину в оренду на 18 місяців для експозиції південноафриканських художників у Лондоні. Тоді мені це здавалося не реальним, при тому, як зазвичай ставилися до картин художників мої співвітчизники, вирішуючи свої бізнес-мети, прикрашаючи інтер’єри на якийсь час, не дбаючи про інтереси художника, це все виглядало як жарт.
Пройшли 18 місяців і клієнт для якого було влаштовано цю експозицію, вирішив її пролити! І тепер мої “Слони” знову залишаться в Лондоні на наступний термін (18 місяців) і, звичайно ж, не безкоштовно, мені знову переказують гроші за оренду моїх слонів! Мені дуже приємно і я ділюся цими добрими новинами з Вами, мої дорогі друзі!
