We broke free!!! How wonderful life is, especially after a long imprisonment! The soul rejoices in spring, every flower, every blade of grass. The first days, when there were still bans on going outside, we secretly ran along Arkady Alley and went to the promenade. The taste of life, the smell of the sea, what else does a person need?! Deserted beaches and the spring aroma of fruit trees blooming their inflorescences, the joy of the blue and transparent sky, all this somehow especially piercingly emphasized the happiness of our existence and the hope that such horror will never happen again.

Ми вирвалися на волю! Яке ж прекрасне життя, особливо після довгого ув’язнення! Душа радіє весні, кожній квіточці, кожній травинці. Перші дні, коли ще були заборони на вихід на вулицю, ми потай пробігали Аркадійською алеєю і йшли на променад. Смак життя, запах моря, що ще потрібне людині?! Пустельні пляжі і весняний аромат фруктових дерев, що розпускають свої суцвіття, радість від синього і прозорого неба, все це якось особливо пронизливо підкреслювало щастя нашого буття і надію на те, що такий жах більше ніколи не повториться.
