The exhibition of marine painting in
the gallery “Na Uytnoy”
As I already told, the location of the gallery was very comfortable. Near the entrance to the gallery grew a huge silver poplar.
It was very nice in warm weather to bring wicker furniture to the courtyard and enjoy the warmth under the canopy of tall trees. We had real tea parties with an electric samovar in the open air.
Our children enjoyed exploring the attics of old houses and eating apricots from a tree in the backyard together with the kids from nearby houses.
When summer came and with it came the idea to arrange an exhibition of seascapes.
Odessa is a city by the sea and there are many artists in the city who devote their work to the sea.
Only this time we decided to take the exhibition out of the gallery directly onto the street.
We decorated the yard with flags, we dressed up in a sailor uniform, borrowed from our friends at the Musical Comedy Theater and our holiday, of course, was a success.
The funny moment was that I spied how my daughters, whose task was to greet the arriving guests, first saluted them and then twisted their fingers around the temple. That was their entertainment.
This exposition inspired me on a new grandiose project of creating the Maritime Art Gallery in Ukraine.

Как я уже рассказывала местоположение галереи было очень уютным. Рядом со входом в галерею рос огромный серебристый тополь. Было очень приятно в теплую погоду вынести во двор плетенную мебель и наслаждаться теплом под сенью высоких деревьев. Мы устраивали настоящие чаепития с электрическим самоваром на открытом воздухе. Наши дети наслаждались тем, что вместе с детишками из близлежащих домов исследовали чердаки старинных домов и ели абрикосы с дерева на заднем дворе.
Когда пришло лето и вместе с ним пришла идея устроить выставку морских пейзажей. Одесса город у моря и в городе есть много художников, которые посвящают свое творчество морю. Только в этот раз мы решили вынести выставку из галереи прямо на улицу. Мы украсили двор флажками, сами нарядились в матросскую форму, позаимствованную у наших друзей в театре Музкомедии и наш праздник, конечно же удался. Смешным моментом было то, что я подсмотрела, как мои дочери, задачей которых было приветствие прибывающих гостей, сначала отдавали им честь, а после крутили пальцами у виска. Это было их развлечением.
Эта экспозиция вдохновила меня на новый грандиозный проект создания в Украине Морской Арт Галереи.
