Yalta. International Art Project “Pallete of Freedom” 2008

In May, I first celebrated my birthday myself, I mean without Radu and the girls, in an unfamiliar company. I was invited to take part in the international project Palette of Freedom, which was organized by the Kiev artist

. Artists from many countries of the world took part in the project.

I went to Yalta with my student, American lady Christine Anne Hofland, who is now the head of the

in Kiev.

In Yalta, we had to create several artworks and donate them to the project fund. I decided to arrange for all our Soul Art to paint the port of Yalta at night in the frame of the project.

Everything was great, Oleg Atayants, as usual, supported me and provided the artists with canvases. We bought paints already in Yalta and used mainly acrylics. This led to the problem.

Already made on a beautiful night, we left the canvases on the pier and in the early morning it started raining.

Early in the morning, barely waiting for dawn, I rushed to save the canvases.

No one but Christine came to help me. All our efforts and creativity were washed into the Black Sea. Nature did not support us at this moment.

The project itself continued, a wonderful exhibition was organized and I made a lot of wonderful friends. I am very grateful to everyone for the opportunity to participate in the project.

В мае, я впервые отметила свой день рождения сама, имею ввиду без Раду и девочек и незнакомой мне компании. Меня пригласили принять участие в Международном проекте Палитра свободы, который организовала киевская художница Марианна Абрамова. В проекте приняли участие художники многих стран мира.

Я поехала в Ялту вместе со своей ученицей, американкой Кристин @Christine Anne Hofland которая сейчас возглавила в Киеве Американский культурный центр.

В Ялте мы должны были написать несколько работ и подарить их в фонд проекта. А я решила устроить для всех наш Соул Арт- писать порт Ялты ночью. Все было замечательно, Олег Атаянц, как обычно поддержал меня и предоставил художникам холсты. Краски мы купили уже в Ялте и использовали в основном акрил. Это привело к проблеме. Уже сделанные прекрасной ночью холсты, мы оставили на пирсе и ранним утром пошел ливень.Рано утром, еле дождавшись рассвета, я бросилась спасать холсты.

Никто, кроме Кристин не пришел мне на помощь. Все наши старания и творчество были смыты в Черное море. Природа не поддержала нас в этот момент.

Сам проект продолжился, была организована прекрасная выставка и у меня появилось очень много замечательных друзей. Я очень признательна всем, за возможность участия в проекте.
